Asking because I don't know: Is there a problem with a current board
member serving as treasurer?

Per [§8.1](https://github.com/noisebridge/bureaucracy/blob/master/bylaws.md#81-offices-held) of the bylaws:
> Any number of offices may be held by the same person, except that neither the secretary nor the chief financial officer may serve concurrently as either the president or the chairman of the board.
So that's cool. I guess that means that we still don't have a chair of the board. Any volunteers?
I volunteer as chair. I have (probably) the most stake in keeping the meetings well organized I used to be a film producer, it won't be a stretch for me.

I made a proposal for that in #9.
To start, do either Ari or Al want the responsibility of treasurer?
Yes @tensory, @asweigart: do either of you want the job?
I'm afraid I must decline.

I really don't want it. I'm sorry. Managing my own money is enough of a
hurdle.

Alright, should we bring it up at the meeting tonight?
The meeting sounds like a terrible place.
Does anyone know a reliable volunteer who might have some knowledge of how to file taxes and be a 501(c)3?
I don't know a reliable volunteer for this, whether within Noisebridge or otherwise. I think it's important to offer the role to the NB community first to see if any of them are qualified. Whether that's through a meeting or the mailing list (both horrible places, I know), I think it's still important.
Tax season is almost over, meaning Danny's role will be terminating soon. I think this is an important topic for discussion on Wednesday.
@flamsmark mentioned he "had someone" in mind, or something, on nb-discuss
list.

I'm more that seven days behind on my Noise-stuff, but someone replied to the “secretariat needs you” message suggesting that they could money. I have yet to follow up.
Danny asked Doug (our CPA) to file an extension on our taxes, which suggests that he may be around for a few more weeks yet.
